Day 1 : AIRPORT - SAINT DENIS

Arrive at Saint Denis airport and we meet you driver. Head for your hotel in Saint-Denis and discover the capital of Réunion Island! Saint-Denis is home to almost a third of the island's historic monuments. There are plenty of things to see and do, and some of them are not to be missed! You can also take advantage of the opportunity to do some last-minute shopping before setting off on your tour.   Accommodation : 3* B&B hotel (night and breakfast) Dinner on your own

Day 2 : SAINT DENIS - CANYON BASSIN LA PAIX - HELL BOURG

Today is your first day in nature and you're off on a canyoning trip. Accompanied by your guide, this time you'll be descending the Bassin La Paix canyon on the Rivière des Roches. This canyoning trip is suitable for all ages and is ideal for beginners. It's an adventurous and thrilling trip, and once again, no previous canyoning experience is required. Tyroliennes, jumps and slides! However, you do need to know how to swim. At the end of the morning, head for Hell Bourg and settle into your gîte for the night.   Accommodation : Half-board gîte Activity : Canyoning

Day 3 : HELL BOURG - BELOUVE

Pack up for the night (your luggage will be back in Hell-Bourg the next day, where you can also leave your car) and head for the Bélouve forest. You climb into the primary forest, home to tropical vegetation including tree ferns and giant tamarinds (Acacia heterophylla). You'll soon feel the tropical humidity on this first hike, which will take you to the viewpoint near the Bélouve gîte. Day 4 : TROU DE FER - HELL BOURG VIA THE BELOUVE FOREST

Early in the morning (7.30am), we set off through the primary forest of Belouve, where we can discover some of the island's legends, kept alive by the magic of the place. The density and liveliness of the forest give free rein to the imagination. After admiring the scenery, return to the Belouve gîte and then descend to Hell-Bourg. 5-hour walk Difference in altitude: +200m / -750m Accommodation: Half-board gîte (luggage collection)

Day 5 : COL DES BOEUFS - LA NOUVELLE - MARLA

You take the forest road leading to the Col des Bœufs and begin your first day's hiking in the Cirque of Mafate. You are entering the heart of a place steeped in history, one of the island's symbols, accessible only on foot. You will first reach La Nouvelle and then the ilet of Marla, which for a long time was one of the most densely populated in the Cirque. Note: You are leaving for a 2-day hike inside the Cirque, during which you will be carrying your own belongings. Pack what you need for the night in Marla in your rucksack (toiletries + a change of underwear - sheets and blankets are provided at the gite). Don't forget warm clothing to protect you in case of rain or cool temperatures from late afternoon onwards. For this day, you can choose to walk from La Nouvelle to Marla via the "Trois Roches" site. In this case, you should allow 7 hours' walking and an ascent of +700m/-1000m. 5-hour walk Difference in altitude: +500m/-800m Accommodation: Half-board gîte (night without luggage)

Day 6 : MARLA - COL DES BOEUFS - SAINT PHILIPPE

You continue your exploration of the Cirque of Mafate. Return to the Col des Bœufs via the Plaine des Tamarins and the Bois de Couleur forest. You will be picked up by your transporter and set off again to leave Salazie and reach St Philippe via the east coast road. You will discover the ancient lava flows of the Piton de La Fournaise and a volcanic universe unique in France. Check into your guest room in St Philippe.   4-hour walk Difference in altitude: +600m/-300m Accommodation : Bed and breakfast with half board

Day 7 : WATERFALLS - LAVA TUNNEL - SAINT PIERRE

Today is a fun day out.... If you get an early start, you can go canyoning at the Rivière Langevin. You can swim under the waterfall, jump off and dive into the lush vegetation! After lunch, you will meet up with one of our guides specialising in volcanism, who will take you into the bowels of the Volcan de la Fournaise.... Equipped with a helmet and headlamp, you'll explore a lava tunnel and discover a mysterious and beautiful world. At the end of the afternoon, head for St Pierre where you will spend the night.   Accommodation : 3* B&B hotel Dinner on your own Activity: Lava tunnel

Day 8 : SAINT PIERRE - CILAOS - ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN BIKE

Visit the town of Saint-Pierre and explore its coastline and beach. You then take the road to the Cirque of Cilaos and follow the many twists and turns that lead to the village of the same name. Arrive at the village and, from 1.30pm, explore the Cirque on an electric mountain bike, a 3-hour ride that takes in some of the Cirque's most beautiful views, its ilets perched on the mountainside, its forests and paths. Supervised by a qualified sports instructor who is also a local guide, you will be gently introduced to the charms of mountain biking without too much effort thanks to our ecological and fun electric mountain bikes. Day 9 : TREE CLIMBING

The adventure park is set in a forest of cryptomerias, literally at the foot of the Piton des Neiges (3,070m). Its 1,600m of ramparts will give you vertigo even before you set off on the high acrobatic courses! The two courses are suitable for children aged 6 and over (1m20) and adult beginners. It's the perfect way to get your feet wet: monkey bridges, barrels, zip lines and lots of other surprises await you to reveal your inner adventurer!   Children under 15 must be accompanied and supervised by a paying adult on the courses. Day 10 : CILAOS - PLAINES DES CAFRES

Today you set off for Plaine des Cafres with your transporter. Discover the road of 400 bends, admiring the ramparts and the beauty of the landscapes of the Cirque. On the way, stop off at the Cité du Volcan (at your expense - €11/adult entrance fee) to discover the world of volcanoes in a fun and entertaining way before really entering the world of Piton de La Fournaise. Then off to Jean Raymond's gîte for a convivial evening with our farmer hosts.   Accommodation: Half-board gîte

Day 11 : PITON DE LA FOURNAISE - SAINT GILLES

This day is devoted to discovering the Piton de la Fournaise, through hikes in an astonishing lunar landscape. To begin with, you'll take a vehicle up to the Pas de Bellecombe, where you'll enjoy a superb panoramic view of the Piton de la Fournaise, in fine weather only! The hike begins. You descend into the Enclos Fouqué, the last caldera formed on the island by the collapse of the volcano. You pass through the Formica Leo, a mini crater that owes its name to its resemblance to an ant's nest. Explore the enclosure and come across all sorts of surprising rock formations. Return to Pas de Bellecombe. You leave the Volcano, a veritable open-air geology book, to reach the west coast and discover another world, the world of beaches and marine animals. 3 to 4 hours' walk Difference in altitude: +150m/-150m Accommodation : 3* B&B hotel Dinner on your own

Day 12 : SAINT GILLES - FIRST DIVE

This morning, discover scuba diving on Réunion Island. A first dive is an unforgettable experience, during which you will spend around twenty minutes accompanied by a state-certified instructor, discovering a fabulous world on the outer slope of the coral reef. There is also the possibility of dives lasting around forty minutes for up to two divers with an instructor for a real introduction to diving. If you've already done an introductory dive and would like to spend more time discovering Reunion's underwater world before starting a diving course, then this is the course for you. Day 13 : SAINT PAUL - COOKING CLASS

Today, set off on a culinary discovery and awaken your taste buds with your host, who will be delighted to offer you a real taste experience. Share a convivial moment after cooking your meal with the best advice you can get on Creole cuisine. Everything is concocted on the spot. After your meal, you can take a digestive stroll to discover the vital basin and its waterfall, before returning to the hotel and enjoying a final day of relaxation. Day 14 : SAINT GILLES - DAY AT LEISURE

A little free time by the lagoon to enjoy Réunion's beaches and a swim in the Indian Ocean. A wide range of optional activities are available from Saint-Gilles.
