Day 2: TOWARDS THE RICE FIELDS AND JAVA
This morning, you leave the coast of Seminyak to take the road north to the Belimbing region, known for its superb rice terraces. Accompanied by a local guide, enjoy a first short hike in these idyllic green landscapes and first discovery of local agricultural life: clearing, maintaining the rice fields, transplanting or even harvesting rice...
With this landscape, do not hesitate to stop for lunch in a small local restaurant (locally called "warung") with a view of these rice fields before taking the road back to the north of the island and your next stops. You arrive at the famous temple of Brahma Vihara, the largest Buddhist temple on the island that you can visit. Then, you continue your journey to the eastern tip of the island of Java by crossing the strait by local ferry. Thus, settle in Banyuwangi facing the strait separating Java from Bali, right at the foot of the treasure of the next day, the Ijen volcano and its sulfur carriers.

Day 3: KAWAH LJEN AND THE SULPHUR BEARERS
Early in the morning, or late at night (around 4am), you have a short transfer to the starting point of the Kawah Ijen hike to begin its ascent. You first climb a wide path in the forest and then a cross-country path to reach the top of the volcanic crater.
And while the first lights tend to appear behind you, you climb to the famous "green crater" and discover its colors at sunrise. Kawah Ijen is famous for its acid lake at 2,400 m and its sulfur mining. You will also come across several sulfur carriers on the way. The conditions (volcano activities) do not always allow you to climb to the top of Kawah Ijen, which is sometimes closed (and the descent into its crater officially prohibited despite the freeloaders).
In this case, we will offer you an alternative hike. On the way back, you enjoy a stop at the pretty Jagir waterfall for a little swim after this effort, before going to the hotel to take a shower and a well-deserved rest. After lunch, you join the island of Bali again by ferry, then continue to Pemuteran, a small fishing village in the northwest of Bali, perched opposite the island of Pemuteran that you have the pleasure of visiting the next day.

You will discover a few snorkeling "spots" (swimming with fins, mask and snorkel) all around the island depending on the sea conditions.
Picnic lunch during the day on the boat or on the island, and you may be lucky enough to see these famous deer.
